Personal Communication: It is the a process of transferring or transmitting a message to between two people. Mobile phones, postal letters are the example of personal communication.
Indian Post: The Indian Postal Network, handled by the Department of Post under the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (Government of India) is the largest in the world. Telecom Networks: To improve telephonic communications, the government has made special provision to extend 24 hours Subscriber Trunk Dialling (STD) facility to every village in the country. This has been made possible due to the integration of developments in space technology with communication technology.
Mobile Telephony: Telephones (both static and mobile) belong to the category of personal communication. This can be done by calling on the telephone taking a conference call or by any other means. India has one of the fastest growing mobile networks in the world and one of the largest telecom networks in Asia Mobile telephony has changed the way Indians conduct business. Now, even low income group people like vegetable vendors, plumbers and carpenters get better busines because they are connected through mobile phones.
Note:- As on February 2016, the total numbers of telephone subscribers in India have reached 1052.33 million (1.05 billion). Till March 2010, 548.32 million mobile connections were in India.
